2019 TENDER HOUSE PROJECT STUDIO: School of the Art Institute of Chicago
This year, eight students in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Masters of Architecture program creatively reimagine the next life for five site specific bridgehouses and their neighboring communities along the South Branch of the river. These proposals imagine cultural futures in collaboration with local arts organization, Co-Prosperity Sphere. The result is part of a “master plan” that envisions the Chicago River system as a cultural network, bridging diverse neighborhoods and communities together.
